This game is the reason why survival games are so popular today. Every developer and their friends want to make the next Minecraft, but no one can. This game will always be the original, and the best. There are 3 main ways to play minecraft, and I would like to point out that all these modes can either be played by yourself or with other people.
The first is survival, arguably the most popular. You spawn into a world with nothing, and your job is to start gathering resources to do whatever you chose. The first thing most players do is build a home to protect themselves from the monsters of the night (Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders, and more). Players then must gear up to fight other, more difficult creatures, which give some cool rewards.
The second way to play Minecraft is the creative mode. In this mode you once again start out with nothing, but the difference in creative is that you can choose what item you want and the game will just give it to you, opposed to survival where you must gather it. This mode is for the creative players (No pun intended), and your imagination really is the limit in this mode. Some players spend hundreds of hours building things, even making replicas of real world buildings in the Minecraft world.
